FALL PREP FOR YUCK!

snow storm ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?

PREP FOR YUCK! THIS IS YUCK!

To me, anyway.

“Some like it hot, some like it cold. Some like it in the pot, 2 days old” (oatmeal/porridge). That’s ‘yuck’ to others. Mostly, I am referring to (Brrr!) winter. Had ’nuff. Don’t need anymore. Kaput!

A couple of things to note:

Need some things to get through –

  • snow shovel,
  • salt,
  • boots,
  • winter wear
  • food supply
  • clean-up stuff
  • entertainment sources
    • music
    • videos
    • games
  • blankets
  • heaters
  • pajammas
  • and on, and on.

IN OTHER WORDS

Get ready to spend some money and time getting ready.

Some things I have done to get ready are:

  1. Pruning new growth before frost
  2. Trimming growth under my spruce trees
  3. Cleaning and ordering my shop for ease in finding winter tools
  4. Helping my wife bring in her plants that can’t winter outside
  5. New covers for our couches and chairs (our boxers – 4 – love laying on them)
  6. Taking battery out of mower and putting inside so it won’t freeze
  7. defrosting freezers so they run more efficiently during winter

I’M TIRED ALREADY!

The ‘W’ in winter stands for work! I’m re-tired. Spelled it that way because working all these years made me tired and now I’m RE-TIRED. lol

The ‘I’ stands for “I’ve got to do it”.

‘N’ means it needs to be done.

‘T’ is the time all this takes.

‘E’ represents the energy all this takes.

‘R’ = REST!

That’s what I’m looking for, it just takes all the above to get to the part I like best!reclining

(Com’on. I’m 76. I deserve a little rest. I say so!)

Well, this is short, if not sweet, but you get the message.
