This is not a poker hand, it is a rich hand. What if it was yours?
Showing is $2,700.00. Not really rich, but not shoddy. Would it change your life? How about 10 times that or 100 times that. Would $270,000 change your life? How about 27 million? What would be the change point for you and how would it change you?
Interesting to think about and that is the reason some of you (us) are here at Wealthy Affiliate, to get rich. What does it mean to be rich?
Dictionary definition:
- having a great deal of money or assets; wealthy:
- plentiful; abundant:
- producing a large quantity of something:
What income level is considered rich? With a $500,000+ income, you are considered rich, wherever you live! According to the IRS, any household who makes over $500,000 a year in 2022 is considered a top 1% income earner. Of course, some parts of the country require a higher income level to be in the top 1% income, e.g. Connecticut at $580,000.
(Google: People Also Ask quote)
Would this change your lifestyle, attitude, friends, where and how you live?
Here’s an interesting thought, if you are a Christian, would you give God His tenth (tithe = 10%), $50,000? That still leaves you with $450,000 and your church would surely appreciate it. Besides, that is only the natural expected response of a true Christian. Other religions often do more. Would that challenge your position in Christ?
BEING RICH BRINGS PERSPECTIVE CHANGE
Dictionary definition:
Perspective: a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view (Google: definition quote)
There are many changes to be considered:
- Sad to joyous
- in debt to out of debt
- limited purchasing power to greater purchasing power
- little responsibility to greater responsibility
- simple life to complex life
- few choices to multiple choices for self and others
- how and where will I live?
- will I be a blessing or something else?
- what will I do – work or not?
- how will I spend this wealth?
I could go on and on as I’m sure you could also. When you (and I) started this journey, we were hoping and aiming to be rich, or at least, richer. Part of the drive to learn and earn is to reach this goal. This should cause some serious thinking and planning.
Why? Without a sure plan, the riches will just come and go, like the income we find insufficient now. We must change perspective to, not only achieve and receive these new benefits, but to maintain the gain and learn how to use it to better for ourselves and others around us.
The above pictures are some of the dream things people desire if they are rich. Are these type of things in your dreams or do you have more practical ideas to maintain the dream?
PARTING THOUGHT
If you want to get the most out of your success, think carefully about how and why you will use this wealth so you can not only enjoy it, but be happy about the way you do. What kind of legacy will you leave for those who follow? Will people love you or hate you, or worse, just tolerate you?
Look at Kyle and Carson. They are leaving a legacy for all of us by giving of themselves and their wealth to change lives – our lives. They are not “super saints” doing this out of the goodness of their hearts (although this is surely good for us and they seem to enjoy the task and the sharing).
They have and are, setting a great example in the way they conduct their business. And this makes them successful and wealthy as they show us how to do the same.
Generosity costs, but it is worth the investment of resources, time, energy and more. The returns are well worth the effort.
One of the highest honors I, and you, can bestow upon them is their honesty in showing us a real product, with real value and results. Not many share their successes this way.
Kyle, Carson and your families, THANK YOU, FOR YOUR INPUT AND EXAMPLE!

May you all make it and realize your dreams.
