IT’S FALL, YA’LL!

SEE THAT LEAF STREWEN PATH? IT’S FALL, YA’LL!

Running through the leaves or just shuffling along, this is the time of fragrant follicles filling favorite facades we have enjoyed in other seasons, but none like this one!

Crispy, crunchy, leaves and air, this is a season mixed with sights, sounds and smells unknown at other times of the year. Enjoy, it’s short! The sights fade. The smells pass. the sounds will soon be muffled by dampness and white, clinging stuff that is cold and covering.

Enjoy the Fall while you can!

Yes, I know we have to rake leaves into piles and either bag or burn them to keep them from blowing and piling up where we don’t want them, but, honestly, we can use the exercise. lol

At least they smell good and are colorful. More than we can say for what’s coming (yuck – snow, that 4-letter word).

This is the right idea! Rest and relax on a soft cushion of sweet smelling leaves, listening to the rustle and soft crunch. Balmy breezes, gently stir the fragrances of maple, ash, pine, spruce, mystery weeds and fall flowers.

HARVEST!

APPLES! PEACHES! PEARS! PUMPKINS! SQUASH!

FARMERS ARE HARVESTING (in our area) CORN, SOYBEANS, SUNFLOWERS, LAVENDAR, and many other fall fruits of summers’ labors.

If you have the privilege of flying over these fields, you get to see a patchwork quilt laid out across the land.
