Just thought I’d spout off about my preference in winter attire, being that I’m such a fashion expert ( been wearing clothes for 77 years, some great, some not so great). BUT enough so my opinion counts. You do understand about opinions, right? They’re like belly buttons, everyone has one (normally). lol
I like sweaters! As I grow older, I chill more easily (body wise, not cool wise). Therefore, I like sweaters. I wear the type below in many colors and patterns, because they are warm, look good on me and are not really expensive. You can spend as little or as much on these as you like. I’m a middle-the-road kinda of guy when it comes to clothes.
Sweater for the weather. And for dress. I get a lot of complements on my sweaters, where my shirts get less response.
(Oh, BTW, if you check out the above 100% cotton sweater, like it and maybe buy one, Amazon says I need to tell you that I will receive a small percentage from your purchase for connecting you with them here. Hope that’s OK with you. It helps me a little. This is a disclaimer)
The above sweater comes in 12 colors, is 100% cotton, so it’s soft, and in sizes x-small to xx-large. The color is a light Grey, so it goes well with my light Grey hair (what little I have left). It’s called a “Fisherman’s Cable Crewneck Sweater”.
MORE BUT DIFFERENT
My favorite style is a cardigan.
This one is a zipper style for ease of putting on. I have had a button down for years and love it (my wife got it for me, so I have to love it, right?) Really, it is my all-time favorite, but it’s getting worn out. Hope someone gets me a new one for Christmas (hint, hint).
This one is 100% wool, comes in 4 colors and sizes x-small to xx-large. NOTE: Dry clean only.
AND THEN FOR FUN
The ugly Christmas sweater For more UGLY’S click and look. Some of these are nuts! I wouldn’t wear them, but there are some brave souls out there and they are still warm, umm. Small thru xx-large; 100% cotton;
BACK TO THE RACK
Argyle vest style This fabric is 45% Viscose, 35% Nylon, 20% Polyester and hand wash only, but it sure looks classy. It comes in 6 colors, blue, beige, black, brown, green and red; sizes small – xx-large. This one is easily worn beneath a suit jacket and provides a little pzazz with a little warmth.
For those who get chills down the neck, there is the Turtleneck This comes in 15 colors and sizes small thru xxx-large. Machine washable, highly comfortable, durable and does not shrink.
Hope I gave you enough variety. The above info only covers these from a man’s perspective, and it is by no means exhaustive. However, as you can see, I like sweaters. lol
FOOTNOTE: Just in time for Christmas! Hint, hint, hint.
